ABOUT ME

ABOUT ME

I’m a multidisciplinary digital artist specialised in motion design, graphic design, and 3D creation. What began as early experiments in video editing in 2018, using Video Star on my phone before switching to using After Effects and Adobe Illustrator in 2020/2021, gradually evolved into a deeper engagement with visual storytelling, where movement, composition, and color became central tools for expressing my ideas and moods.

Over time, this exploration led me to develop a strong sensitivity to visual harmony balancing shapes, palettes, and thematic coherence to support a clear artistic direction. Expanding into 3D creation using Blender in 2023 further enriched my work, which allowed me to construct immersive spaces, animated characters, and expressive environments. By blending three-dimensional worlds with motion-driven graphics, I wish to create vibrant visuals that form a distinctive universe : a digital realm shaped by imagination, rythm, and atmosphere, where the characters ans their surroundings come together to bring ideas to life!

Throughout my childhood, i’ve been impacted and inspired my many, MANY forms of media. I couldn’t include everything but I’ve mostly been inspired by cartoons, video games, nintendo games.. I believe all of them have greatly contributed to my visual and storytelling choices

Just like the media I consumed, Music has played a major role in how I perceive the world, how I process my emotions, and therefore how I create my Art. I grew up listening to a lot of my mom’s playlist, which included a loooot of groovy, disco and rhythmic music! I believe it is part of why I love dynamism and rapidity so much, and how that translates in my work !

When it comes to my music taste, i can truly listen to anything as long as I like the melody and instrumental. I love pop, rap, jazz, hip hop, electro, but i do have a soft spot for indie rock !

I grew up listening to a loooot of Michael Jackson, Black Eyed Peas and Diana Ross, but also french music as well like Section d’Assaut, K.Maro, and so on..

Today, my favourite musicians and groups would be Far Caspian, Feng Suave, Loaded Honey, Jungle, Tyler the Creator, The Marìas, Men I Trust, Daft Punk..

On the other hand, Video game and Cartoon music has also impacted my art, I loooove listening to Nintendo playlist, especial Koji Kondo’s work on Animal Crossing, Zelda, Mario, as well as Toby Fox’s insane musical work on Undertale ! I could keep going forever haha but I’ll try to keep it brief.

Here is a selection of some albums I listened to as a kid, and some I listen to today.

I would describe my creative approach as intuitive and emotional. Every single one of my ideas comes from an initial spark, whether it's through a song, memory, feeling, something i went through..

My goal, as an artist, is to process the said spark through the lens of creation, which allows me to channel multiple ideas, emotions, into a single flux.

I mostly go with the flow for most of my projects, sometimes i'll structure them, sometimes i wont't. As long as it works for me.

To me, fun is the most important part of the process, if I'm not having fun during a project, I’ll just end up scrapping it. Which is why I make sure to do as I please, not pressuring myself into creating, and take my veeeeery sweet time with every step! This helps me learn, try and experiment new things, and most of all enjoy every second of it.

On the other hand, music is a very crucial part of my approach. I believe it is complementary to the visual aspect of my projects, in fact, the songs i choose are meant to enhance, carry, and illustrate my point further.

BLENDER

ADOBE ILLUSTRATOR

AFTER EFFECTS

PHOTOSHOP

Just like My Approach, I would describe my workflow as intuitive and pretty messy. I don’t have one way of working things out, i just go with the flow and do as I please.

My typical workflow would be :

A song initiates a “spark” → I make a moodboard to illustrate the visual identity of said spark → I start making the assets 3D/2D on Blender and Illustrator → I breakdown the clips and music on After Effects → I make a storyboard → I start animating on Blender → I import clips on ae for compositing and motion design → Final render

But I don’t always make a storyboard though, sometimes I’ll just see where the flow takes me, the same way sometimes i get the “spark” from something else than a song, meaning i’ll have to look for one that fits afterwards…

Besides, i can make some very detailed moodboards, the same way some times there will be just a couples images to capture the overall ambiance, allowing me to figure things out as they go.. I won’t always be using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop as each project has its own needs.

I don’t think it’s necessary to always stick to a plan ! As long as I enjoy the process, the rest is optionnal. Maybe it’s messy, maybe i’m not as organised as the industry would want me to be, but it works for me. And it’s all that matters.
