TIME MOVES SLOW
MOODBOARDS & IDEAS
The idea for this video came to me during a period in my life when I felt deeply lonely. Every day seemed to blur into the next, and time felt painfully slow because I was living the same day over and over again.
I wanted to capture that feeling of being trapped inside a kind of time prison, where time becomes an almost omnipotent force, something beyond your control that decides how you spend your days, how you experience them, and ultimately, how they affect you.
The video is my attempt to explore what it feels like to be stuck in that cycle, where time doesn’t simply pass, but becomes something you feel imprisoned by.

TIME CHARACTER
DESIGN AND MODELING
For this character, I really wanted him to embody Time itself. Aside from his hands, which remain human to symbolize the way time directly affects us, every other part of his body is made from elements associated with time: arrows, clock faces, numbers, gears, cogs, and intricate mechanical mechanisms.
The idea was to make his entire body feel like a living manifestation of time less like a human being wearing elements of a clock, and more like time itself taking human form. The human hands represent our relationship with time, while the rest of his body reflects the unstoppable, mechanical nature of time and its constant movement forward.

COMPLEX CLOCK STRUCTURE
MODEL EVOLUTION
MODEL EVOLUTION
I wanted this clock structure to materialize the embodiment of time passing. Each arrow represents the continuous passage of time the way every day, month, year, minute, and second moves forward and becomes part of the past.
At the same time, the structure exists beyond a single moment. It brings the past, present, and future together in one image, creating a visual representation of time as something that is constantly moving, yet exists as a whole. The clock becomes a physical manifestation of the passage of time itself.

AFTER EFFECTS
& COMPOSITING
The compositing work in After Effects was crucial in bringing everything created previously in Blender to life. Adjusting the color grading helped make the portals and the overall spatial atmosphere feel more immersive, while enhancing the camera movements added greater depth and dimension to the scenes.
I also used VFX to further integrate the clocks into the environment, making them appear progressively blurred through animated masks and keyframes. These effects helped create a stronger sense of movement and atmosphere, while reinforcing the feeling of time constantly shifting and passing.
